KADAYAWAN FESTIVAL Security Preparation & Activities

Conference was initiated by this command together with the PRO XI Regional Director PCSUPT Atty Pedro U Tango and Col Oscar Lactao of TF Davao. Topics were about the security preparation for the Kadayawan Festival Celebration held at Conference Room of this office.	City Director PSSUPT Ramon C Apolinario during an interview with the media personalities regarding the Kadayawan Festival	On August 14, 2009 at 2:30 in the afternoon PSUPT ANA MARIA V BALADAD attended a Kadayawan Trade Fair Meeting held at Counselor’s lounge at SP Bldg this City presided by Atty Lopez and topics discussed were about the security measures, investors concern, and committee meeting	On August 17, 2009 at 3:00 PM in the afternoon, PSUPT Ana Maria V Baladad Chief PCRD conducted an area survey at the Market Basket together with PI Aquino V Serenio.

On August 17, 2009 09:00 a.m. Personnel of this office led by PO1 Rex Emuy visited/conduct area security to the lumad groups of Paquibato district while displaying their native products inside Sanggunian Building in connection with the celebration of KADAYAWAN FESTIVAL. Activity ended 10:30 am of same date.	On August 18, 2009 at 9AM, PI BENKALIN BALUAN, Team Leader of Team 25 that is deployed at SM CITY for the “ SAYAW MINDANAO FESTIVAL” gave instructions to the personnel of the plans re- security measures to be taken in the area	PSSUPT RAMON C APOLINARIO, City Director, discussed with other Officers Re- Kadayawan Security measures dated August 22, 2009 at 7AM	On August 22, 2009 at 8AM, PSSUPT RAMON C APOLINARIO, City Director, meet with Hon. Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, City Mayor, and discussed that all 100% Personnel of Davao City Police are on the street to provide 100% security.

City Director, PSSUPT RAMON C APOLINARIO with PSUPT ANA MARIA V. BALADAD stayed on the streets tom make sure the safety and security Of the people who wanted to witness the Float Parade dated August 23, 2009.		The City Director, was interviewed by Kapuso reporters with Ms. PIA ARCANGHEL, re- Safety and Security Measures provided by Davao City Police Office to the people for this big festival	PCI JOYCE M CONCEPCION, headed the teams detailed at Agro Industrial College, Blvd. this city for the WOWOWIE show where big crowd is expected.

On August 19, 2009 at 3PM, PSSUPT RAMON C APOLINARIO, City Director, with PSUPT ANA MARIA V BALADAD and PCI JOYCE M CONCEPCION initiated and headed thefeeding, gift giving and parlor games to the kids of Balay Dangupan Drop-in Center and PNP dependents. Said activity was supported by the Civil Satellte Group XI headed by PCI JAMES GULMATICO.			PO2 Grace Mendova, PCR PNCO, returned the child to his parents after being lost during the WOWOWIE TV Show.

On August 22, 2009, PCSUPT ATTY PEDRO U TANGO, RD PRO XI, with PSSUPT RAMON C APOLINARIO, provided area security during the arrival Of Sen. Manny Villar with Willie Revillame and casts of WOWOWIE.		PMA ENTRANCE EXAMINATION August 30, 2009, Officers from the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) conducted entrance exam for PMA Cadets. The City Director together with other staff officers, provided area security at the University of Mindanao, Matina Campus where the examination was held.

NAPOLCOM PESE EXAM A NAPOLCOM Police Executive Service Eligibility (PESE) examination held at San Pedro College on August 30, 2009. This Police Office also provided security during the day of examination.		National Heroes’ Day Celebration PSSUPT RAMON C APOLINARIO, City Director, with other staff officers, attended and participated the offering of wreath and volley fire in honor to our heroes during at the Heroes Park, City Hall Drive, this city during the National Heroes Day Celebration.
		City Director with the Out-of-School Youth from Paquibato The City Director stressed out to the out-of-school youth of Paquibato District the importance of education and to stay away from drugs during their visit at this office with DSWD.
			On August 13, 2009 at 1:30 PM PSUPT ANA MARIA V BALADAD initiated an information dissemination to the people of Brgy Calinan regarding crime prevention and bomb awareness.
