DCPO ADJUDGED AS THE MODEL CITY POLICE OFFICE FOR YEAR 2009

January 29, 2010, Plaque of Merit is presented to Davao City Police Office during the 19^th PNP Anniversary Celebration held in National Headquarters, Camp Crame, Quezon City for having been adjudged as the Model City Police Office for the Year 2009for its outstanding transformation initiatives and performance in police administration and operations in the line with the PNP Integrated Transformation Program, thereby contributing immensely to the attainment of the overall vision and mission of the Philippine National Police.

Checkpoint Inspection

10 Jan 2010, OIC, DCPO PSSUPT RENE O ASPERA inspected the COMELEC checkpoint manned by elements of CPSMC led by PINSP RANEL B MARQUIZO along San Rafael Road, Davao City. Said activity covers the checking of vehicles coming in and out of the city in compliance to COMELEC Resolution 8729.

Visitation & Inspection of different Police Stations


On 10 January 2010, OIC,DCPO PSSUPT RENE O ASPERA together with the DCPSMC personnel led by PINSP PETER JOHN L MURING, platoon chief, conducted visitation and inspection to different POLICE STATIONS to check the security preparedness and alertness to include the proper implementation of checkpoint to their respective AOR.

	Public Information On January 14, 2010, 9:30 AM PSSUPT RENE O ASPERA, OIC, DCPO was the guest speaker on I-SPEAK together with PSUPT ROYINA M GARMA, Legal/Admin Officer, PSUPT ANTONIO RIVERA, PIO/CHIEF IDMS and PSUPT ANA MARIA V BALADAD CHIEF PCRB. The activity held at City Mayor’s Conference Room, San Pedro St., Davao City. Topic discussed were about the preparations of the forthcoming election and the security measures of the City.

Media Interview On January 15, 2010, 9:23 AM OIC, DCPO PSSUPT RENE O ASPERA was interviewed by the members of the TRI-MEDIA ORGANIZATION FOR PEACE AND ALLIANCE IN MINDANAO (TROPA) headed by Manuel A Autida, President/Anchorman regarding his present assignment as OIC of the DAVAO CITY POLICE OFFICE.
